AI Expert – Automotive Pricing Specialist

As an AI Expert specializing in automotive pricing, you will be responsible for developing and implementing AI models that accurately forecast vehicle prices and market trends. You will work closely with our data science and software engineering teams to design AI tools that support dynamic pricing, maximizing profitability, and improving customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy AI algorithms tailored for predictive modeling of automotive pricing.

Analyze large datasets to understand market dynamics, customer behavior, and price sensitivity.

Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate AI models into existing platforms.

Continually monitor and optimize AI systems for performance and accuracy.

Conduct A/B testing and pilot studies to validate model effectiveness and iterate as necessary.

Keep abreast of the latest AI research relevant to automotive pricing strategies.

Provide insights and recommendations to the business team to inform pricing decisions.

Document AI development processes and model functionalities for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required

Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in AI/ML, with at least 2 years focused on pricing optimization.

Strong background in predictive modeling, regression, classification, and clustering techniques.

Required

Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala, and familiarity with AI frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.

Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.

Understanding of microeconomics and econometrics, particularly in the context of price theory.

Familiarity with the automotive retail market and the factors influencing vehicle valuation.

Demonstrated ability to translate complex AI/ML concepts into actionable business strategies.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a cross-functional team.

Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
